Phil Collins Signals Possible New Music While Celebrating 45th-Anniversary Reissue of Face Value

The 63‑year‑old revealed that he has several finished tracks and a wealth of ideas that have sat on the shelf since his health declined. He also disclosed that a basement studio in his home now offers him a private, low‑stress environment to record.
Collins’s creative hiatus has been shaped largely by a spinal injury sustained in 2007. Since that time, chronic neck and nerve pain has limited his ability to play drums and has made studio work physically taxing.
