Chiodos Return With First New Song in Over a Decade, Sign With SharpTone Records
American post‑hardcore outfit Chiodos has dropped a fresh single, “TAPDAT,” marking the band’s first original recording since 2014’s Devil. The track, released on July 21 2026, comes hand‑in‑hand with the announcement that the Michigan‑based group has inked a recording deal with independent label SharpTone Records.
The comeback is a continuation of a 2024 reunion that began with a surprise set at Las Vegas’s When We Were Young festival. From there, the band embarked on a sold‑out North American anniversary tour celebrating their debut album All’s Well That Ends Well. The tour also featured appearances at Warped Tour, Louder Than Life and other major festivals, re‑introducing Chiodos to a new generation while satisfying long‑time fans.
Produced by Keith Sorrells—known for recent work with Demi Lovato and Jutes—“TAPDAT” fuses the band’s signature aggressive guitar work with melodic choruses and cinematic arrangements.
