Dayseeker Announces Biggest Australian Headline Tour Yet for February 2027
Dayseeker has announced a five‑date headline tour of Australia in February 2027, marking the band’s first return to the country since a sold‑out 2024 headline run and a 2025 performance at Good Things Festival. The tour will begin in Perth on 7 February and finish in Brisbane on 14 February, with the Melbourne and Sydney shows scheduled as the largest arena‑sized performances the band has staged in Australia.
The lineup will feature Canadian artist Jutes, who is making his Australian debut, as well as American metalcore outfit Silent Planet and the American duo Sace6. Dayseeker’s frontman Rory Rodriguez said the band was eager to start 2027 in Australia: “We’re so thrilled to be coming back to Australia to start off our 2027. These will be some of the biggest headlining shows of our career and we can’t wait for our friends overseas to see the show we’ve put together.”
Dayseeker formed in Orange County, California, in 2012 and has released six studio albums to date. Their most recent, Creature in the Black Night, was issued on 24 October 2025 through Spinefarm Records and produced a Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay number‑one single, “Crawl Back To My Coffin.” The album followed Dark Sun (2022), which explored personal themes related to the loss of frontman Rory’s father. After the release of Creature in the Black Night, founding guitarist Gino Sgambelluri departed the band on 6 November 2025 and touring guitarist Mitch Stark joined the live lineup.
The Australian tour dates are:
7 Feb 2027 – Perth, Metro City 9 Feb 2027 – Adelaide, Hindley St Music Hall 11 Feb 2027 – Melbourne, Margaret Court Arena 12 Feb 2027 – Sydney, Hordern Pavilion * 14 Feb 2027 – Brisbane, Fortitude Music Hall
Tickets for the run will go on pre‑sale on 14 July at 12:00 pm AEST, followed by a venue pre‑sale on 15 July at 12:00 pm local time. Early registration is available through the Destroy All Lines website, and general‑public sales begin on 16 July at 12:00 pm local time.
Support acts:
Jutes – A Canadian musician who has built an international following with releases such as Ladybug and Sleepyhead. His forthcoming album Chin Up, Beautiful* is scheduled for release on 5 August. Jutes has earned hundreds of millions of streams and a debut on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart.
Silent Planet – An American progressive metalcore band formed in 2009. Their latest full‑length album, Superbloom, was released in 2023, followed by the collaborative EP Bloom In Heaven* with Invent Animate in 2025. Silent Planet toured Australia in 2025 supporting ERRA, further solidifying their local fan base.
Sace6 – An American duo whose debut album brutalist came out in 2026. The pair received nominations for Best International Breakthrough Artist and Best Breakthrough Album at the Heavy Music Awards and made their Australian live debut earlier in the year supporting the band nothing, nowhere*.
Dayseeker’s Australian presence has grown steadily. Their 2024 headline tour sold out across the country, and their 2025 Good Things Festival set was widely praised for its emotional intensity. The decision to book arena‑sized venues in Melbourne and Sydney reflects promoter confidence in the band’s expanding local audience.
The tour is scheduled to run from 7 February to 14 February 2027, with pre‑sales beginning 13 July and general‑public tickets available from 16 July. Fans can purchase tickets through Destroy All Lines.
In summary, Dayseeker’s February 2027 Australian headline tour represents the band’s largest arena‑sized run to date, supported by a diverse lineup that includes Jutes, Silent Planet, and Sace6. Ticket sales will open in mid‑July, and the tour will conclude on Valentine’s Day in Brisbane.
